Free monthly newsletter for professional online publishers
Information, ideas, tips and techniques - all at no cost
Myles Communications, parent company of MyWebPal, announced this week that they have launched a new monthly newsletter site for professional online publishers. "Our goal with the site is to provide a clearinghouse of information for online publishers who want to better understand what online publishing can mean to their newspaper or radio station," said Robyn Myles, president of Myles Communications. "For the past several years, we have been providing these resources exclusively to our current clients. However, it's clear there's a need for a primer… an online guide and interpreter, particularly for small papers in small markets on how to navigate the online publishing journey."

According to Myles, the first issue of the newsletter includes articles on many areas of online publishing that are of interest to the news and editorial side of the house, as well as to the financial departments. "As an editor or publisher, I'm interested in how to deliver information to my readers and how to reach new and untapped readers. Of course, the days of websites being a vanity effort are gone and publishers are hungry for strategies to make their sites profitable," said Myles.

Subsequent monthly editions will include a strong mix of articles covering education about online publishing issues, tips and techniques for webmasters, tactics for driving readership to both online and print editions, generating online revenues, strategies for growing an online presence, and more.

As a special bonus to readers who register for the new monthly newsletter during May and June, MyWebPal is offering free access to and use of MyMusicPal for sites. This offer is available to publishers whether they use MyWebPal's publishing system or not.
