MyWebPal today announced an agreement with a new technology partner to
provide recruitment and employment tools to online publishers and to become part of
a new initiative called “The Job Network”. Under the agreement, Redmatch will
provide powerful and affordable recruitment tools designed to enable
community newspapers to retain and recapture lucrative employment advertising from
local employers.
According to a recent Borrell Associates study, newspapers have been
seriously impacted by the advent of online recruitment sites such as Monster.com and
HotJobs.com. Now, by all indications, these two recruitment giants may have
their sites trained on small market employers next — the heart of community
newspapers’ recruitment advertising.
“We are excited about our partnership with MyWebPal,” said Gal Almog,
Redmatch CEO. “This cooperative effort will make the most advanced online
recruitment technology available to community newspapers giving them a competitive edge
that even Monster.com is unable to offer to its clients today.”
MyWebPal’s newest offering can be sculpted to meet any newspaper’s
requirement with private labeling, and local, regional or national network choices.
Most powerful to advertisers though, are the dynamic desktop utilities that
newspapers can provide to recruiters and employers to help them do their job more
effectively.
The Redmatch recruitment tools are being adopted by a number of individual
newspapers who want to join forces to form a regional and national network,
under the auspices of “The Job Network.” Members of this network are able to
share databases of ads and candidates while retaining privately branded sites of
their own. The Redmatch solution includes sophisticated job matching, online
management tools for candidates and recruiters, and even salary surveys that
help drive the passive job seeker.
“We are focused on putting the best tools at the right price into the hands
of community newspaper publishers, whether it’s for online news and content man
agement or display and classified advertising. Redmatch truly provides the
right tool for recruitment. Our publishers want tools that strengthen their core
business — not tools that require a degree in web-mastery,” said Robyn Myles,
president of MyWebPal. “And Redmatch meets our clients’ litmus test for
robust capabilities with extraordinary ease of use.”
